Frequently Asked Questions

Which travel package is best for me?

We suggest for short visits the small package (3-5 days) and the larger packages if you are going visit Merida for an extended amount of time (7+ days). Keep in mind that your itinerary is based of the total amount of days you visit. Your adventures will be divided amongst those days so that you can enjoy a personal and free experience with Merida. 

Is the Itinerary preset?

Your itinerary is not preset. It is determined by the dates that you are visiting and your specific journey. There are many activities in Merida, we want to ensure we accommodate your preferences and options. If you see an event going on in Merida, or want to experience one, please ask us to add it to your travel itinerary. We are here to serve. 

Tell me about the scouting trip!

An exciting and informational trip through local city colonials so you can get familiar with the taste of Merida. This scouting trip will consist of local neighborhood visits so that you can view the different styles of neighborhoods in the city.  The scouting trip is timed via the package that you purchase. Whether North, East, West or South Merida there is a great place for you!

Is the cost of food included in my package?

The cost of food is NOT included in any packages.

Is the cost of my AirBNB included with my travel package?

We will assist you with booking an AirBNB for your visit, this does include the nightly cost of the AirBNB. We will send you a AirBNB Merida Mexico Weblink to check out some available units in the Merida. We ask that you narrow your search to 3-5 properties that look interesting. We will then take a look at the location and neighborhood to ensure accessibility to local shops, eateries, stores, etc. and a good location for your stay. 

Do I receive an additional consultation with my purchase?

If you have consulted with Tia Niki, you also have a FREE additional 30 minute consultation at no additional costs.

Is the TuriBus cost included in my package?

We will accommodate the purchase for the price of the ticket(s) $5.50 per person + a $3.00 transaction fee. 

How do I know who is picking me up from Airport?

I will be at the airport when you arrive for pick up. We will use onsite transportation to your destination.

**You are free to use this driver for your personal travel needs as well while here in Merida. They appreciate your business. 

Driver Request: Choose a driver from a small catalog for your transportation needs. Once your driver is chosen, you will receive your contact information via WhatsApp. You may then contact the driver for services. 
Tia Niki 'N Merida utilizes several different driver services,  please refrain from contacting the driver until you arrive at the Merida Airport. His contact information is for location confirmation.


Please Note: I always encourage using local and public transportation, such as Uber and Vay-Y-Ven/IETRAM.
